Photo Galleries of Members

Many ENC members take photographs and they range in their ability

and in their equipment from beginning amateurs to near professionals.

All members with cameras are encouraged to share their photographic experiences

related to nature. There are a number of internet sites that provide

free storage of photo files that can be accessed by anyone.

A number of club members have allowed us to reference their collections

and we encourage you to view their photos on a variety of subjects.

Greg Burwash

Greg’s PBase site contains 15 galleries of which eight give focus to his interest in birds. As a relatively new member of the Edmonton Nature Club, Greg has used the field trip outings to establish contacts and locate good sites to carry out his photographic hobby.

Paul Burwell 

 

Paul has created his own website and gallery displays that illustrate his skills as a professional photographer. Included in his galleries are topics such as birds, animals, landscapes and flowers and plants.

Don’s Flickr site contains over 400 photos of birds seen in the greater Edmonton region. Take the time to pass along some comments using the Flickr comment feature and Don would surely enjoy the feedback. Don’s passion for bird photography is well displayed.

Steve’s Nikonians Galleries site contains photo sets of birds and mammals, which, although not large, contain some very interesting wildlife photos especially for birders.

Bob has created his own web site to display his large collection of photos. His ‘menu’ of topics includes birds, mammals, bugs, spiders and lots more. Bob’s photos give focus to Alberta but range into British Columbia, the Yukon and the Northwestern U.S.

Gerald Romanchuk 

Gerald’s PBase site contains 10 galleries of which six are predominantly birds and the four remaining pertain to insects, mammals, reptiles and amphibians, and scenery and sunsets. The entire collection exceeds 3500 photos.

Dan Stoker

Dan’s Picasa public galleries contain three small collections devoted to birding. Other galleries pertain to travel and activities in Alberta.

 Terry Thormin

Terry’s PBase site contains 24 public galleries covering many different natural history themes including by example: lichens and mosses; birds; insects in flight; mammals; and, fungi. A number of galleries are area-specific such as: Africa 2007: Jasper 2007; and, Trinidad and Tobago.

 B.L.E.S.S. 

The Big Lake Environment Support Society has numerous photos displayed through its web site. All sorts of plants and animal life are provided.
