The Edmonton and Area Land Trust

The Edmonton and Area Land Trust (EALT) is a natural areas conservation initiative that involves a partnership between the City of Edmonton, the Edmonton Community Foundation, The Edmonton Nature Club, the land Stewardship Centre of Canada, the Legacy Lands Conservation Society and the Urban Development institute.

These founding groups supported by a broad community interested in natural area systems conservation, have identified the need for a not-for-profit charitable land trust as an important instrument in natural areas conservation within the Edmonton area.
